RUNNING FROM THE PAST IS A LOSING GAME

RYUJI is a wanderer by heart, somebody that you can count on when the going gets tough. The Kanto native, though displaced, has found his life in Hoenn to be filled with things to do, faces to memorize, and people to serve. Since being hired as part of NIKITA SOKOLOV's private investigation business as an assistant, RYUJI'S looked far more well dressed than usual. He's taken a liking to the work, even if it involves a good amount of babysitting a man twice his age.

WHAT CAN BE LOOKED UP

On his own, RYUJI'S made a bit of a name for himself in the public's eyes. Some might know him from his many stints as a bar tender across Hoenn, while more may have seen him as a waiter in the finest of cafes. Regardless, he's been around.

• RYUJI is currently employed at NIKITA SOKOLOV'S private investigation firm as an assistant. He's usually the one to do the clerical work and manage the guest facing relations.
• His Arcanine has a habit of barking in the middle of the night and waking up neighbors.
• He has a crippling addiction to vanilla flavored sweets.

POINTS OF INTEREST FOR THE LEAGUE FACTION

• RYUJI is a former member of the Kanto Police Force. Before the Rocket takeover, he was on track to become a Detective but has resigned to civilian life after his arrival in Hoenn.
• His family's whereabouts are currently unknown, though due to the squad not reporting in upon arrival in Hoenn, it's assumed that they're still in Kanto.
• Before the Rocket takeover, RYUJI was fairly active in combating Team Rocket grunts with his Growlithe, later, Arcanine.

ROCKET KNOWLEDGE

POINTS OF INTEREST FOR TEAM ROCKET FACTION

• The source of many Rocket plans getting foiled can be traced back to RYUJI's handiwork.
• His family is still being detained in Kanto, having been intercepted before their watercraft was able to leave Kanto.
• RYUJI has made his intentions known in regards to Team Rocket's goals and should be considered a threat.

PRIVATE KNOWLEDGE

PERSONAL SECRETS

• RYUJI is suffering from PTSD from his experience in Kanto during the Rocket invasion and subsequent takeover. It brings a great deal of shame to him.
• He finds himself admiring and becoming smitten at some of the handsome men of Hoenn. RYUJI has more than enough excuses for this, but worries that there's something wrong with him.
